In 1999/2000 a network of four Regional IPM Centers (North Central, Northeastern, Southern and Western) was funded through competitive USDA-CSREES (United States Department of Agriculture-Cooperative State Research, Education and Extension Service) funds. Virginia is located in the Southern Region.
